Terms of Use
These are the ground rules for using this website. They are short on purpose. Any actual project you hire Levi for is governed by the written proposal you agree to together, not by this page.

Using this site means accepting these terms
This website is run by Levi Pro Craft ("Levi Pro Craft", "we", "us"), owned by Levi Miller in Carlsbad, California. By browsing the site or sending us a form, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You are welcome to call or email instead.
Who owns what is on the site
The photographs on this site are of Levi's own work, taken by Levi or shared with his permission by the homeowners he built for. The written content, drawings, the Levi Pro Craft name and logo, and the layout and code of the site belong to Levi Pro Craft or are used with permission. They are protected by copyright and trademark law.
Homeowners who allowed their projects to be photographed did so for Levi's portfolio. Please respect that: do not reuse photos of someone's home for another purpose.
What you may do
- Browse the site, read the Answers, and save or print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, such as planning your own project.
- Share a link to any page.
- Quote a short passage with a link back to the source page.
What you may not do
- Copy, republish, scrape, or redistribute the photographs or substantial parts of the text, or present Levi's work as your own or anyone else's.
- Use the Levi Pro Craft name, logo or photos to advertise another business or to imply Levi endorses a product or service he does not.
- Send spam, false inquiries, or anything unlawful through the forms, or try to break into the site, overload it, or get around its security and spam controls.
- Use automated tools to harvest content or contact information from the site.
If you want to use a photo or passage in a way not listed above, ask. Levi usually says yes to reasonable requests with proper credit.
Information on this site is general
The Answers section and the service pages share what Levi has learned from twenty years in architecture and from building for North County homeowners. They are general information, offered in good faith, and they are not professional advice about your specific property.
- Building codes, permit requirements, setbacks, and HOA rules differ by city and change over time. Confirm permits and codes with your city's building department before you start any project.
- Where the law requires a licensed professional for a type of work, such as structural engineering, electrical, plumbing, or permitted construction above certain thresholds, hire one.
- Materials, finishes, and methods described here may not suit your conditions. What works on a shaded inland deck may not work on an exposed coastal one.
You rely on the information here at your own judgement. If you want advice about your property, get in touch and Levi will look at the actual situation.
Estimates, proposals, and actual work
Nothing on this website is an offer to perform work at a particular price, or a promise to take on a project. Sending an inquiry through the site starts a conversation, nothing more. Any estimate, proposal, scope, schedule, or agreement for work is made separately, in writing, outside this website, after Levi has seen the site and talked with you. That written agreement, and only that agreement, governs any work Levi does for you. If anything on this website conflicts with your written agreement, the agreement wins.
Links to other sites
We link to a few outside sites, such as our Nextdoor and LinkedIn pages and government resources about privacy or building permits. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
What you send us
When you send us photos or a project description, you keep ownership of them. You give us permission to store them and use them to respond to you and plan your project, as described in the Privacy Policy. We will not publish photos you send without asking you first. Please only send photos and information you have the right to share.
The site as it is
We work to keep this site accurate, available, and secure, but we provide it "as is". We cannot promise it will always be online, free of errors, or free of things like viruses that are beyond our control. We may change, pause, or remove any part of it at any time.
Limits on our responsibility
In plain English: this is a portfolio and contact website. To the fullest extent California law allows, Levi Pro Craft and Levi Miller are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this website or relying on the general information on it, including indirect losses like lost time, lost savings, or the cost of fixing a project you did yourself. This limit applies to the website only. It does not limit anything in a written agreement for work, and it does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under California law.
Governing law and where disputes go
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about this website will be heard in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you agree to that venue. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms. We will not change them in a way that takes away rights in a written agreement you already have with us.
