Accessibility Statement

Good building is about everyone being able to use the space. We hold this website to the same idea. If something here gets in your way, we want to know, and we will fix it.

Our commitment

Levi Pro Craft wants every visitor to be able to see Levi's work, read the Answers, and get in touch, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced by most accessibility laws and the one we build and test against.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML. Each page has one main heading, a logical heading order, landmark regions (header, navigation, main, footer), lists for lists, and a "Skip to content" link as the first focusable element.
  • Keyboard navigation. Every link, button, menu, form field and control can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a sensible order. The mobile menu button announces whether it is open.
  • Visible focus. Keyboard focus is shown with a clear outline on every interactive element, and we never remove it.
  • Labelled forms. Every form field has a visible label tied to it. Required fields are marked, errors are announced to screen readers as they appear, and the form works without JavaScript.
  • Alt text on photography. Every project photo carries a written description of what it shows, not just a file name. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Before-and-after comparisons. The slider is a standard range control you can operate with arrow keys, and it announces the current position. If JavaScript is off, or if that interaction does not suit you, the before and after photos are shown side by side as plain images instead.
  • Motion. Scroll-in animations and transitions are turned off when your system asks for reduced motion. Nothing on the site flashes or moves on its own.
  • Type and contrast. Text is real text, not images, and it scales with your browser settings. Fonts are served from this site with system fonts as fallbacks, so text appears even if a font fails to load. Text and interface colours are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Plain language. We write the way Levi talks to a neighbor: short sentences, no jargon where a plain word will do, and definitions where building terms are unavoidable.
  • Responsive layout. Pages reflow for any screen width and are built to work with browser zoom up to 400% without sideways scrolling.

Known limitations

We are honest about where we are not yet where we want to be:

  • Photos you send us. Images uploaded through the inquiry form are seen only by Levi in a private admin area. They are not given alt text because they are not published. If Levi ever publishes a photo from a project with your permission, he writes a description for it first.
  • Third-party sites. We link to Nextdoor, LinkedIn, and some government resources. We cannot control how accessible those sites are.
  • Ongoing testing. We test with keyboard navigation, browser zoom, and screen readers on common browsers, but we have not yet commissioned a formal third-party audit. New content is checked as it is added.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this site is hard to use, or if you need information from it in a different form (for example, a plain-text or large-print version of a page, or a phone call instead of the form), please contact Levi directly:

Tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within two business days, to give you the information you needed in a way that works for you right away, and to fix the underlying problem on the site as quickly as we reasonably can.

Technical notes

This site relies on HTML, CSS and a small amount of JavaScript that enhances but is never required. It is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, with VoiceOver, NVDA and TalkBack, and with keyboard-only navigation. This statement was last reviewed on November 8, 2026 and is reviewed whenever the site changes significantly.
